What is Tamasha?
Tamasha is a new South Asian Film Collective aimed at empowering aspiring South Asian filmmakers in the Philadelphia Area. The collective will provide a platform for South Asian artists to showcase their talents through film and writing. In addition to film screenings and discussions, Tamasha will offer workshops and opportunities for community critique, allowing artists to continually develop and enhance their craft.

Through advocacy, education, and empowerment initiatives, AAWPI aims to address the underrepresentation of Asian American women in various levels of government and policy-making.
